Marshfield Ballfields
Project Overview
KEG has worked with many municipalities over the years to provide consulting services for the development of publicly funded projects. The Marshfield ballfield project included the design and permitting for three soccer fields and two ballfields. We worked closely with representatives of the town to develop the layout that worked most effectively with the site topographic and other constraints and the town needs for the facility.
KEG was responsible for all aspects of the site design and permitting for the project including topographic and property line surveys; providing civil/site design including site layout, grading, and utilities; coordinating all permit applications; coordinating with the Town representatives; and representing the project through the public hearing process.
The project was complicated by its location in priority habitat for the Eastern Box Turtle. The planning involved MEPA and NHESP analysis and the creation of offsite Conservation Restriction areas to mitigate the impacts to the habitat.
