Trinity Ashmont Treadmark

Project Overview
Trinity Ashmont Treadmark is one of many multifamily projects in which KEG was a key part of the team. KEG has worked with Trinity Financial in the successful completion of many mixed income multifamily apartment projects in Massachusetts. Treadmark is an 83-unit, six-story building located at the end of the southern end of the MBTA’s Red Line, at Ashmont Station. The site was formerly the home to Ashmont Tire shop for the past 40 years and was an underutilized site. The project includes 51 Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) rental units, and 32 for sale condominiums. The building also includes 5,000 square feet of ground floor neighborhood retail and 32 spaces for parking (30 garage spaces and 2 surface spaces). The project enhances the streetscape with the addition of street trees and street furniture down as well as the creation of 8 on-street parking spaces in front of the building

KEG was responsible for many aspects of the site design and permitting for the project including topographic and property line surveys; provided civil/site design including site layout, grading, and utilities; and permitting through the City of Boston.
